UNILORIN expels 108 students over fraudulent admission

The vice chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali has disclosed that 108 fresh students have been expelled for gaining admission into the school with dubious means.

Ambali stated this when the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr Sam Okaula paid the school a visit.

Ambali furthered that, the stable academic calendar and culture of excellence in the university is the reason why candidates opt for the school, and this has made most of these candidates to engage and resort to illegal means of seeking admission into the institution.
