#OndoDecides: Jegede, Akeredolu, Oke shine in Akure, Owo and Ilaje respectively

Eyitayo Jegede, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, won his polling unit with a wide margin as vote counting commenced across Ondo State.


Results from St. Brendan’s Primary School in Akure, where Mr. Jegede cast his ballot Saturday morning, show that the PDP candidate scored 184 votes to beat his major contenders.

APC’s Rotimi Akeredolu came in a distant second with 77 votes while the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, Olusola Oke, scored 32 votes.

Meanwhile,  the AD candidate , Chief Olusola Oke is leading in some units in Ward 1, Igbodigo in Okitipupa Local Government Area.

Supporters of the AD candidate were seen jubilating as INEC officials counted the election results in some of the units.

In Ward 1 Unit 6, AD  scored 141; APC 57 and PDP polled  31.In Ward 1 Unit 7, AD polled 161; APC. 88 while PDP scored  41 and seven votes were rejected. In ward 1 unit 10, AD got  187 votes, PDP 63 votes and APC 54.

However, in Owo,  try e native town APC candidate Rotimi Akeredolu,  it was landslide victory for AKeti,  as he won own ward with wide margin. Result from Unit 6, St Lukes CAC Primary School, Prison Quarters Ajagbule, Owo goes thus:

APC: 413 PDP: 13 AD: 4
