A former acting polytechnic rector has slumped and died at a hotel in Ughelli, Delta State during an alleged sex session with a yet-to-be-identified female teenager.
Chief Udele Emuhohwo, identified as the lover man, a source said, slumped at his hotel room in Ughelli.
Bewildered by the development, the teenage girl was said to have raised the alarm, alerting neighbours at the hotel.
The sources added that the former rector, suspected from the Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State, was swiftly rushed to a private clinic, few kilometres from the hotel where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
The source, a security officer, said “He had gone to the hotel in company of a female teenager and booked a room for an hour of love session with the girl.”
According to him, “The girl raised an alarm when the chief slumped, but absconded following reports that the victim was confirmed dead.”
“Though no arrest has been made in connection with the incident, a female manager of the hotel was arrested for questioning but has since been released,” the source added.
As of the time of filing this report, family members of deceased is said to be holding a meeting at the Rector’s Upper Agbarho residence on the next line of action.
“We are having a meeting with elders of the family if an autopsy would be conducted after which we would take a stand on the matter,” a family source was quoted to have said.
